The Tatev Info Center's mission is to foster economic development in Tatev Village by supporting local providers of tourist services and functioning as a link between the local community and the tourist population.

The Tatev Information Center was opened on July 7th, 2007 by the Arshakyan family, with support from the World Bank and financing from Swiss Bank.

Since its opening, the Tatev Info Center had grown to include a souvenir shop and a cafe, and also functions as a meeting place for local groups like the Tatev Youth Center. The Info Center has free wifi, fresh coffee, baked goods, and home-cooked meals. It is the perfect spot for travelers to meet and relax after making the long trek to the monastery, and has the resources and expertise necessary to help you plan both your stay in Tatev Village and the next leg of your journey in Armenia.
